Customer Training

Demonstration & Training Center
Our Demonstration/Training Center is available to customers for use at their leisure. Just call us to set up a time and you can come in and test drive any one of the many MODICON PLC systems we have running. Feel free to check out a program you may have written or we will loan you a training PLC system to take home and play with. We will also be happy to give you a demo copy of the best ladder logic software available, ProWorx NXT. We also have MODBUS, MODBUS Plus, and MODBUS Ethernet networks running in our DemoRoom so come on in and enjoy!

Factory Training
NU-LITE also provides valuable factory training such as a Square D PowerLogic Power Management Training class being held in our training facility. Students from different companies can attend the class. As you will see below, we can offer just about any training you may need for your company. Please give us a call and let us help you customize a training class for you.

Leviton Training Class

Nu-Lite offers many training programs designed to keep your people up to date on the latest products and installation techniques. Shown here is a recent Leviton Intergated Networks training class. This group in a 1 day class learned the basics of Residential Structured Cabling and became Certified Leviton Installers. The training received by this class will allow them to join in the rapidly growing resi cabling market and increase their profits.

Technical Training

Programming techniques range from basic programming functions through arithmetic operations and data transfer moves using discrete I/O, register and analog I/O.

Software training includes software commands used to create, edit, save, configure and document PLC programs. MODICON ProWorx NXT or ConCept programming software can be used in training classes.

Hardware available for training includes Quantum single and Hot Standby systems, Compact 984, Micro 612 , Momentum Processors and I/O, MODBUS Plus Bridge Multiplexer, Ethernet Connectivity, Ethernet to Modbus bridge and fiber optic communications. Each student will have her/his own workstation.

Class Duration — Three days from 8:00am to 4:00pm

Training at NU-LITE's facility:
$850.00/day if a company wishes to reserve an entire class with a maximum of six students.
$285.00 per day for an individual student.
Lunch and refreshments are provided.
Training manuals will be provided for classroom use but can also be purchased for $75.00 each.
Customers may bring their own laptop computers.
Nu-Lite will provide computers, programming software and cables.

Training at Customers facility:
$1050.00 per day plus expenses (lodging, mileage ($.40/mile), and meals).
Maximum of six students per class.
Lunch and refreshments are provided by customer.
Training manuals will be provided for classroom use but can also be purchased for $75.00 each.
Customer must provide laptop computers for course attendees.
Nu-Lite will provide programming software and cables.

NOTE:
Hardware and software training can be tailored to the specific needs of the customer.
Communications classes or advanced programming classes can also be presented.
